The day is finally here! Of Hearth & the Harrowing is for sale here. This is the PDF version of the book. The print on demand version will be available really soon (hopefully). I'm waiting on the latest copy to come in so we can approve it for sale. The last few were good, but there were things to fix, and we want to make sure if you spend the money to get it printed you get a great book.
Today starts Chaosium Con USA 2026, so its a great day to announce the release. Its been a long journey. Last year this time we were testing the alpha version of the rules. I'd spent all winter writing the rules and getting it ready to playtest. The feedback from the convention last year was critical for forming the game into what it is today.
Now here we are a year later, the book is out. The game has come so far, and I'm so proud of the work we put into it. The funny thing is, this is not an end, this is just the beginning. The book release is just the start. There is so much more to do. And so much more to create to support Of Hearth & the Harrowing.
Last night, I was able to spend a bunch of time with new and old friends, here at the con. Among them was Neil Robinson, the CEO of Chaosium. He gave me tons of advice and some very kind words about the game. Thanks, Neil!
